Welcome to Cap Ferret
Located in the Southwest of France, about an hour from Bordeaux, Cap Ferret is a narrow peninsula suspended between two worlds; the rush of the Atlantic Ocean on one side, and the calm waters of the Bassin d’Arcachon on the other.
This is where Florence feels most at home, and where Bryan gets his best runs in.
The peninsula stands quietly against the force of the ocean, while sheltering a softer ecosystem where oysters grow and tides shape the landscape twice a day. Life here moves differently. You bike through pine forests and sand dunes, you eat simply and well, and you track time by the changing tide.
Sand in your shoes is inevitable.
Good wine is constant.
The tide is a gentle reminder that we’re part of something larger.
We can’t wait to share it with you.
What to expect
Our wedding will be less about tradition and more about atmosphere.
We’re gathering you in Cap Ferret to share something we love deeply — this place, this rhythm, this feeling.
We will exchange vows.
We will eat well.
We will celebrate.
The rest is simply time together.
Dress for the occasion: Comfortably Elegant
Dress for the weather: the beginning or October can be warm but can also be a bit wet. It’s Ocean weather, baby!
Getting There
We recommend getting to Cap Ferret on Friday evening.
For international travelers you might consider two options:
arrive in Paris to spend a couple of days there, then take the fast train (3h) to Bordeaux or Arcachon
fly to Bordeaux Mérignac Airport and spend a couple of nights in Bordeaux to visit the vineyards before heading to Cap Ferret
Getting to Cap Ferret:
by train (2h): TGV form Gare Bordeaux St Jean to Gare d’Arcachon, walk (10 min) to Thiers Pier to take the boat shuttle to Bélisaire Pier in Cap Ferret (30min)

by car (1h) : You can rent a car from Bordeaux Mérignac Airport and take the D106 road to Cap Ferret
