For those arriving early, we’ll be spending a day exploring the vineyards around Bordeaux.
This will be a relaxed, shared experience — good wine, beautiful landscapes, and time together before the wedding weekend begins.

We’ll be visiting a small selection of vineyards in the Bordeaux region, with transportation and tastings organized for the group.
We are organizing the day as a group experience.
Estimated cost per person: €140-165/person, which will include transportation, lunch, and 2 chateaux tastings.
Final details will be shared once we confirm headcount.
what to expect
We’ll depart from Bordeaux in the late morning and head into the vineyards. Transport and an english-speaking guide will be arranged.
The day will include a couple of curated tastings, time to walk around St Emilion, and a relaxed lunch together.
Expect a slow, scenic day with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the region.

The tour will depart from central Bordeaux, with lots of walkable hotels or quick public transportation to and fro.
You’re more than welcome to join us at the Moxy Bordeaux near the Cité du Vin Museum, 25 Quai du Maroc or find a hotel that might fit your style and budget better.

We recommend arriving in Bordeaux the night before, whether it’s from Paris by train or if you’re flying in to Bordeaux Mérignac Airport.

Bordeaux is a walking paradise when you stay around the central area on the left bank. You can also take public transportation if you’d like, and Uber operates in France as well.

We are organizing a bus that will take people from Bordeaux to Cap Ferret on Friday October 2 around noon, and will bring people back to Bordeaux on Monday.
